How do I renew my library items?

There are several different ways to renew your items:

1. Let our system do it for you. Our system will attempt to renew an item for you if no one else has a hold on it. When an item is coming due, an attempt will be made to renew it automatically for another 3 weeks. You will receive an email reminder 3 days before an item’s due date informing whether materials have been automatically renewed or need to be returned. Items will renew up to 5 times.

2. You can manually renew items, and manage your whole account, through the library catalog page. Sign in with your library card and PIN. You can renew your checked out items from My Account.

3. Renewing is easier than ever with the Scott Lib (MN) mobile app. Sign in your library card and PIN to search our catalog for materials, place holds, check your account balance, pay fines, and more. Click here to watch a short video to see how it works.
