COVID-19 Status Update
The Career Lab is open on a limited basis, by appointment only. Current hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-12:30. Please call the Career Lab Help Desk at 952-496-8310
All hiring events and workshops are currently suspended. We will continue to work during this time and all appointments and orientations will be done over the phone. All paperwork will be processed per usual and as it is received. You can drop off paperwork in our secure 24 hour drop off box located right outside our main office door at 752 Canterbury Road South in Shakopee. Items in the drop off box will be picked up every hour during our normal business hours. You can also use our fax at 952-496-8675

Are you unemployed or underemployed? Are you looking to update your current skill set? You can complete a Contact Record and leave it in our secured document drop off box located at 752 Canterbury Rd S in Shakopee. Dislocated Worker and Adult Programs
The Dislocated Worker Program offers free services to help eligible individuals that are 18 year of age and older find suitable reemployment. The Adult Program provides employment and training services to eligible adults 18 years of age and older.

The Diversionary Work Program (DWP ES) is a short-term (up to 4 months) work-focused program which requires immediate participation with employment services.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program provides part-time community service jobs for people 55 years of age or older who meet income guidelines.

The purpose of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP E & T) is to help Food Support recipients find employment.
