In accordance with Minnesota Statute 641, all offenders will be required to pay service fees incurred during their incarceration in the Scott County Jail.
The Scott County Jail service fees are set annually by the Scott County Board of Commissioners. Booking Fee Reimbursement
About Booking Fee
The Scott County Jail collects a $25 booking fee from each person held for confinement. This is authorized by the Scott County Board of Commissioners per Minnesota Statute. Booking fees will not be collected from boarded inmates, juvenile inmates, or book and release inmates.
A person may request to have their booking fee reimbursed if all charges are dismissed at court or if that person is acquitted on all charges. If there are no outstanding charges on the inmate's account, a booking fee reimbursement will be issued.
Proof for Reimbursement
It is up to the individual to provide proof from Court Administration that the charges were dismissed or that the person has been acquitted.
