Be a Good Neighbor: Help Keep the Water Clean

Clean water benefits everyone and requires everyone's participation.  

You can do your part to help us keep Scott County's waters clean by:


  1. Following the yard care guidance on this page.
  2. Participating in the Technical Assistance and Cost Share Program SWMO partners with the Scott Soil and Water Conservation District to offer.  Find out about the conservation practices offered and contact the Scott SWCD today!
  3. If you are a homeowner, homeowner association, business owner, or a non-profit (school district, lake association, sportsman club, etc), check out SWMO's current Water Steward Grant program.  You might qualify to receive up to $2,500 for a project to help water quality and/or environmental education.
